BRICS Heads of State Summit 2024
The BRICS Heads of State Summit was an important international event, bringing together leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa to discuss key issues of global economics and politics.

Torch Relay of the XXIX Winter Universiade 2019
The relay route stretched across the entire country, covering 20 federal-stage cities and 13 regional-stage cities, including Moscow, Arkhangelsk, Kaliningrad, Simferopol, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Grozny, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, and Vladivostok.

From June 22 to 25, 2015, Yekaterinburg hosted the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals — the largest IT competition of its kind. A total of 122 teams from 89 countries competed for the title of “best in the world.”
